    This cam box is a quality made box that will help protect your trail cam. It has a good quality finish that should weather well for several years.
    The things I would change about this particular model are that while the box does accept a Python cable, the hole the cable goes through also locks the front of the box to the back. What this means is that to remove the cam from the box to check the SD card you have to remove the Python cable before you can access your camera. There are two other oblong holes on each side of the box, but their oblong shape aren't large enough in diameter to allow the Python cable to run through them. I will modify one set of the oblong holes by drilling them out to a larger diameter to accept the Python cable and touching up the paint where I drill to prevent rusting. The only other issue is that there is a lot of area on the front of the box that allows open access to the camera. The camera does not come up flush to the front of the box. Where I live we have issues with wasps. When they find an opening like this box has they will nest there. Not a huge problem, but just have to be aware of the possibility when you open the box.
    Overall, a good box and a good value for the money.

    I got 3 of these they are about 2 lbs each. To guage that they are not made out of tin foil..... the fit is excellent.
    no sloppy seating and they mount well. plenty of options for screws tapcons or steel cable type lock. I got cheaper cameras but the ones I don't want to walk off........ Have a lock box on them. I think the cameras are an investment. so I don't waste time sitting in a nonproductive spot. And protecting them is better than them sprouting legs......
