This box is well constructed and sturdy. It should definitely keep the bears from destroying the camera. The only negative is the hole for the lock is not large enough for a heavy duty lock - but no lock will keep people from stealing anything. Overall, a good box at a reasonable price.

screwed to tree with lag bolts,put programed camera in box,replaced cover,padlocked and walked away. dont get any easier than that! thank you for a well made product!!
