I Feel A lot easier about mounting my cam on a Tree with this Master Lock..

I mounted my cam on Tuesday of this week and will check it on Friday to see if I have any Pictures.(excited to see).I found out about the lock box and Master lock from the makers of my camera "WILDGAME INNOVATIONS". So thankful to them because I was so afraid of the camera being stolen I had no Idea that they had anything like this to protect it..that I was very hesitant about putting it out...it has been out for three nights now bringing it in tomorrow...thank you...Noreen

Works . Cable a bit narrower than I had imagined. Keys tiny and a bit flimsy. Will deter a casual poorly equipped passer-by or kid. Which is adequate for my needs. I just need to deter the average National Forest hiker/hunter/climber and inconvenience them enough to keep them honest so my Plot Watcher is still there when I go for it.

I use the Master Python locks with all of my trail camera boxes. I know they have deterred at least one camera from being stolen. Be sure to buy the 5/16" cable, not the thinner cable lock.

Master Lock Python Cable Lock is the best

Works great with my Cam Lock boxes. Stays tight at whatever length I set it. Never felt this secure with other locking devices. I would recommend this Python Lock to anyone that wants to place their cams out with a sense of security that they have the best protection device available securing them.
Truly love it. In fact it's out there working right now.

These are the best locks for use with Camlock boxes. Just remember, once the cable is pulled tight and locked, to unlock it, put some tension back in the cable by puling on the loose end to get the lock to unlock easily.
