    I have bought 5 of the Model 2000 stoves over the years for my deer blinds. The old ones look as nice as the two I just purchased. They put off some serious BTU's. You must burn this heater for several minutes as it will smoke and smell.

    I bought this to replace a "Big Buddy" heater in an enclosed deer stand. The unvented buddy heater produces lots of moisture that promptly condenses or freezes on the inside of the windows in cold weather. The only way to combat that is to leave a window open- kind of defeats the purpose of a heater!
    The little Nu-Way stove is vented with a 3" stovepipe, solving this issue. It's quiet and produces steady, dry heat. Just the solution needed. I added a damper in the stovepipe as suggested, keeping more of the heat inside the structure. The pipe itself also provides radiant heat.
    The stove is relatively light gauge steel, time will tell how durable it is. I'm surprised that a piezo igniter isn't standard equipment. Lighting the burner through the door works with an extended butane lighter.

    The stove works well. It’s made of thin gauge sheet steel so it’s a little delicate. Other than the paint burning off (fumes) I’ve been satisfied with the stove.

    Great stoves. I use them in my Arctic Oven tents up here in Alaska. Bought one and tried it out...now I have 5. Easy to use, instant heat, no more smoke filled tents. Too easy...Thanks
